Plumpton Farms is
owned by Ingie and Cindy Plumpton, and is located on Coye Road in
Jamesville, New York. Their son Jason and his wife Cindy, both
engineers, and
daughter, Denyea, a High School history teacher, also help out around the
farm. Zack and
Bailey, their beautiful Irish setters are always there to greet guests and
visitors.
By May, Spring is in the air. We offer
the "Proven Winners" line of plants for their superior garden performance.
Lush mix containers, window boxes and planters with a variety of "Cottage
Accent" plants for your patio or deck.
Come June, pumpkins and corn have been
planted, and hay is being cut, baled and stored. The greenhouses still
have a large selection of hanging baskets and perennials so visitors are
still welcome.
September is the
beginning of the harvest at Plumpton Farms. Hardy mums are ready for
your fall landscaping. Dried flowers, pumpkins, gourds, and corn
stalks are ready for purchase. The Country store is open and stocked with
handcrafted gifts.
Halloween begins October 1st at Plumpton
Farms. The pumpkin patch is open and ready for your picking. The
Pumpkins come in all sizes and shapes. Come visit our barn friends,
tour our newly expanded Halloween and farm displays. Walk through our
hay maze and meet our Giant Hayman. Sit on our antique tractor,
visit our Spook Cemetery, and check out our haunted house.
We're open to the public daily from 9 AM to
Dusk.
Face painting, popcorn and cider are
available.
